Every organization strives to have brand ambassadors.
Knowing all the benefits of brand advocacy, and word-of-mouth marketing, it is not surprising that companies are looking towards ambassadorship programs to achieve specific business goals.
I created Buildahottub.com because I wanted to help other DIYers like me build their own Hot Tubs. The information was just not there when I built my own tub.
Now, I’ve directly helped close to 500 customers build their own DIY Hot Tubs and indirectly help +/- 1000 visitors a day on my blog with information and over a 1200 hours of my videos are viewed on YouTube every month.
Today, as the popularity of my website, blog and YouTube channels have increased, I am being approached more and more by industry brands that would like me to promote them. This is an honour for me to be considered as a brand ambassador for you.
That said, I have built the trust of my audience and add value to every project that I am involved in. I will only promote brands and products that I believe in. I say “no” to more brands than I say “yes” to!
If I lose the trust of my audience, I lose my business.

What I won’t do
What I won’t do it create a couple of videos that promote your product or write a review and that’s it. That is not what I am looking to do. There is no value in this for my audience. I’m lucky enough not to need business like this.
I am also not an affiliate marketer. This is something in which I have no interest whatsoever.

I am looking for long-term partnerships, not one off deals.
My ambassador tiers are structured in a way that your brand received cross-platform exposure and promotion from the channels I can leverage.
I am not going to guarantee you X number of views or X number of leads, that would be wrong as I simply can’t do that. I can guarantee though that I will create good, helpful, meaningful content that my audience will like and will showcase your products and brand in the best possible light. I am a digital content marketer.
With this said, the goal is that my audience will become your future customers.
Ambassador Program Tiers
All first time brands incur a setup fee of $250. This is to cover my time discussing the program and correlating the necessary documentation and information about your brand and your product with you. Time is money as they say so I want to make that clear from the outset.
Setup fee and first month is paid online (card) when you are ready to move forward. Subsequent months will be invoiced 4 weeks apart from the start date.
There is a minimum commitment of 3 months for any of the tiers below. Whilst I don’t for a second believe 3 months is “long-term” I understand that you may need some time to become comfortable working with me and a longer commitment is not something you would want to do from the outset – I get it.
Likewise, for me, the amount of time involved in researching and creating the content, video content and placing banner ads to then have to remove these after a month is not cost-effective. Nor does it give my audience the right message. If I’m promoting a brand when they are researching a project, I want them to see the same message when they come back 6,8,10 months later ready to start their project – not another set of new products!
