DIY Hot Tub in 2023 – The Process

DIY Hot Tub Process 2023

Happy New Year to my readers. It is that time again when we all re-evaluate our lives. We make our New Year’s resolutions and see if we can stick to them. We also plan what we want to achieve for the next year, in this case 2023 and that might include a DIY Hot Tub build.

In this article, I want to cover what the “process” is for building a DIY Hot Tub. I am not talking about a step-by-step guide; I have one of these here. I am talking about what your options are as a DIYer and more specifically exactly how I can help.

I started this blog and my YouTube Channel to help other achieve what I achieved – building a DIY Hot Tub – I still absolutely love it! When I built mine, as I am sure you have read before, there was not the information available which is why I started this blog.

Today, at time of writing I have helped over 600 of your fellow DIYers build hot tubs. That help comes in different forms and this article will explain the process of each. I describe this as a process because it really is a process. You need to get from the start which is the big idea right through to the end where you are soaking in your new hot tub thinking just how great life is. Getting from start to finish is the process and this process can take different forms.

Building a DIY Hot Tub – DIY, unaided process

As the section title suggests this is of course an option. Today, with all the information that I have on my blog and my YouTube Channel, I am sure that you can quite easily go from start to finish all on your own, totally unaided.

Decide what you want to build, come up with the design, source the parts and build – simple – well, sort of. I’d like to think that if I was involved in some way shape or form, I could make life a little easier for you.

If I am missing anything here, please do get in touch with the form below as I am always on the look out for new blog and video ideas.

The Guided Process

To make life a little easier, I have compiled plans, designs and an eBook and packaged them up for you. In my online store I have dozens of designs and plans that you can follow. This “done for you” approach will certainly make your life a lot easier.

For 2023 I have updated the designs and the material. It is the best it has ever been. I’m always looking for feedback and taking onboard what customers are asking. If something is missing, then I will create it – just let me know. It really is that simple.

The Ultimate guide has had a total overhaul and new sections have been written. I have also included a new dual pump pluming layout as standard. This dual pump setup has a circulation pump and also a separate heating source which could be air source heat pump or propane, natural gas or even solar. The plumbing layout is the same. This kind of layout has definitely increased in popularity hence I am now including this as standard.

One of the other huge changes that I have made for 2023 is that I have now added my Online Course as standard to the Gold and the Platinum design packages. Selling at $99 on its own, this is great value when it is bundles into the design packages whose prices have remained the same for 2023.

With the dimensional drawings, the plumbing layouts, the online video course and the Ultimate DIY Hot Tub Building Guide, you are all set.

The Custom Process

Sometimes, what you are looking to build just does not exist in my online store. You might have an idea for a cool shape, or a certain set of features. Something a little different. Well, in this instance, what I can do for you is a custom design. I am not going to run into how that work s on this article, you can read more about that here.

Having me design something custom for you means you will get exactly what you are thinking in your mind – with my help, we can make this a reality.

Parts Supply – the last part of “the process”

The last part of the process that I can help with is the parts supply. Getting the right parts for the task in hand is probably one of the most important ones. The last thing you want to do is spend the money, and hope….

You want to know that the parts you are getting are going to work on your hot tub. You need to know that they will go together correctly and the end result will be that hot tub that you have dreamed of. The last thing you want to do is be stuck with a load of incompatible parts.

This is why I have put together the kits that I supply. I spent so much time in the past trying to make incorrect parts work with customers that have tried to save a few bucks and order online that I have stopped consulting on these projects. Today, if I supply you the parts, then I offer free build consultancy to help you get the job done.

I am at the end of a phone, email, WhatsApp or video call, whatever you need to get the job done.

Final Thought

I’d like to wish you all the best with your DIY Hot Tub project in 2023 and I hope I can be of assistance and be part of the process.

Happy Hot Tubbin’

Andi

Hi, Andi here. I own Buildahottub.com and also write all of the articles and info pages on the site. Some years back now, I built my own hot tub but struggled to find the information I needed. So, once my tub was complete, I started this website to help others in their own pursuit of hot tub and plunge pools DIY building information.

Today, I've helped over 1000 DIY customers just like you all over the world build hot tubs and pools. Have a good look around the site, there are lots of resources here. Please do get in touch if I can help you. - Cheers, Andi
